Founder
Chief Executive Officer
Dianne Crewe-Shaw, Ph. D., is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Fresh Start For Youth Development, inc. She has been an educator for over 25 years, with her initial years of teaching experience in Jamaica and the West Indies.
Born in Kingston, Jamaica, Dr. Crewe-Shaw was raised near Montego Bay, Jamaica. She received her Teaching Diploma with a Mathematics and Social Studies major from Sam Sharpe Teachers College, Jamaica. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Middle School Education with a major in Mathematics and Science at Western Carolina University. A Master’s Degree in Education majoring in High School Mathematics Education with Brooklyn College, CUNY. She received her Philosophy in Educational Leadership at Concordia University-Chicago.
With a passion for serving children and young adults, Dr. Crewe-Shaw has invested countless hours in shaping the future of others through her role as Director, Mentor, General Education Development Instructor, School teacher, Teacher Leader, Foster Parent, and friend.
Co-Founder
Chief Financial Officer
Shantoi Rumble is the Co-Founder and Chief Financial Officer for Fresh Start For Youth Development Inc. She is an educator who specializes in working with students with disabilities. She has over seven years of experience in the educational profession, working in New York City and currently with the Georgia Department of Education.
Shantoi Rumble holds a Bachelor’s in Computer Science and Information Security from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, CUNY. She holds a Master's Degree in Science for Teaching Students With Disabilities (Grades 7-12), obtained from Brooklyn College. In addition, she holds an Education Specialist Degree in Teacher Leadership, obtained from Thomas University. Shantoi is a member of the International Honors Society Kappa Delta Pi and is currently employed as a high school teacher, serving SWD.

Fresh Start For Youth Development is a newly established nonprofit organization that aims to provide mentorship and support for at-risk youth. We are looking for board members passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people.
